Experience

My entire teaching career has been with special education students.

I began my teaching career in 1985 with Bessemer City Schools-two years at J. S. Abrams High School and one year at Davis Middle School. I then moved into the Jefferson County School system and worked with early childhood special education students for the next 14 years at Concord Elementary, Irondale Community, and Grantswood Elementary Schools. I then came to the Hoover City Schools working the last 10 years at Greystone Elementary School.
